Curated Coaching for
Social Entrepreneurs
Problems I Help My Coaching Clients Manage and Overcome
While I do work with social entrepreneurs on business planning and modeling (mostly through my workshops and courses), my coaching practice helps social entrepreneurs with managing and overcoming mental stressors that arise in their day-to-day work like:
Imposter syndrome
Sexism
Past trauma
Racism and reverse racism
Workplace PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder)
Report and legally taking action against fraud and bad business deals
I also work with social entrepreneurs with challenges that arise when they pursue their dreams and elevate such as:
Losing friends as they rise
Gaining new friends that are in alignment with their highest self
Managing marital issues (I studied communication in marriage for two years),
Fear of success or failure
Challenges that arise with simply being a first generation American and/or college graduate in their families (like myself).
Acclimating to a different socioeconomic status (e.g. lifestyle creep, moving to affluent communities)
Managing interpersonal relationships as they rise - When you become successful, other people change not you!
Most of my current clients are people that previously worked in academia, the medical industry, or corporate America and desire to “be their own boss” and utilize social entrepreneurship as a tool to fulfill their personal, social, and financial goals. People that work with me often desire financial freedom and life flexibility through social entrepreneurship.
My Ideal Clients
My ideal clients are entrepreneurs that aspire to or are doing work that has an explicit positive social impact on their clients and/or beneficiaries (e.g. people or organizations they donate to or provide social services).
Their professions typically include:
Therapists (physical therapist, mental health therapists, art therapists)
Life coaches (meditation coach, life planning coach)
School founders and administrators (e.g. charter school developers)
Healers (e.g. herbalists, aestheticians, masseuses)
Nutritionists
Photographers
Teachers
Professors
Counselors
Artists
Yoga instructors
Retreat organizers
Nurses

Once a coaching session is purchased, you will receive a link to schedule the coaching session and the Zoom link for the meeting.
Coaching sessions are purchased, scheduled, and mainly held online via Zoom. However, in-person sessions can be arranged if we are in the same area. Contact me at rweaver@socialenterprisedirectory.com to explore this option.
To best prepare for a coaching session, outline your goals for the session and business needs so we can dive right into meeting them. These coaching sessions are a safe space. I’m not here to judge you, I am a resource here to guide you.
Trained Counselor
I love and embrace my background in psychology. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from CUNY’s Herbert H. Lehman College and a Master of Arts in Applied Psychology with a specialization in Human Development and Social Intervention from New York University.
I am trained in cross-cultural counseling and group dynamics. For two years, I studied decision-making in parents and their children in relation to their economic status. For another two years, I conducted research on lying and communication in marriages. I have done counseling work in the United States, Israel, and Morocco. In Morocco specifically, I participated in a female empowerment project for both American and Moroccan women.
Important Note:
The entrepreneurial mindset and lifestyle is not for the faint of heart, especially if you are a social entrepreneur. You are not alone in your journey. It’s just that social entrepreneurs are a rare breed. Most people do not understand what you are trying to do or how to help you. That’s where I come in!
For the last 5 years, I have worked with students that aspire to become social entrepreneurs. Now, through Weaver’s Social Enterprise Directory, Inc. I am working with social entrepreneurs from various parts of the globe to meet their needs and to overcome their challenges.
In our first coaching session, I work with you on goals that you would like to achieve over the year. Most coaching clients work with me monthly. Some eventually hire me for consulting, strategic planning, event organizing, keynote speeches or more.
My goal is to be a resource and an asset to your evolving social enterprise. As such, I am open to figuring out the best way to create value for you and your organization. Book a session and let’s discuss how we can achieve your goals!
